I was already working as a journalist when Griet and I became reconnected, many years after studying together in Sevilla, Spain. Her passion for the pursuit of well-being in the workplace resonated with my intense search for how to become the happiest and most authentic version of myself.
Already at the very beginning of Moov-IT, I supported her noble project’s content that inspires people to know how to take responsibility for themselves and to learn new healthy habits. With my journalistic experience and the deep conviction that just a simple but moving story is needed to touch people, we decided to write a book together to further extend her messages around Corporate Wellness. We deliberately chose not to put out a “dry” list, and instead used a story about people and their chronicles, fears and deep moments of happiness; a story where a CEO, a graduate student, and a pensioner can all recognize themselves. With this story we hope to leave a long trail with the belief that the human factor makes an organization from good to great, and that the human factor IS the essence of any organization.
